Are you ready to get started?

Here’s the process:

Step 1 book a consult Step 2 get labs drawn Step 3 results review
  • This can be virtual or in person, we will spend 45 minutes reviewing your medical history and discussing your symptoms focusing on the 3 most troublesome.
  • We will discuss your preferences for things like cream versus patch and come up with a tentative treatment plan pending lab results.
  • We require a comprehensive set of labs looking at all likely causes of your symptoms. We are also mindful of not wasting your time and money chasing unicorns, we can go deeper if it’s indicated.
  • We use either LabCorp or Quest depending on your location.
  • Labs typically result in less than a week.
  • This is done via email unless there is something alarming, in that case you will be called.
  • We will message you in Spruce (our texting service) to provide a synopsis of the findings and outline how our plan aligns with the results or make any adjustments as indicated.
  • Once you’ve had the chance to review the final plan your medication will be ordered.

We will have quarterly check-ins to evaluate dosing for effectiveness and side effects and make changes as indicated. Once your dose is stabilized these will decrease to every 6 months.

Along with our medication support we also provide a subscription to Alterra, a lifestyle education program. This program provides information on many topics that are relevant to women in the peri – and post-menopausal phase of life.
