Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase Please DONOT take the test if you

  • are pregnant
  • are taking hormonal replacement therapy
  • are using contraceptive pills or hormonal IUD

Preparing for your test

Fasting is not needed although morning specimen are recommended. Please give your sample on the second or third day of your menstrual cycle (First day of your period is considered day 1). If you do not get your period then the test can be performed anytime. Patients consuming Biotin supplements are advised to stop biotin 72 hours prior to sampling.

After the test

After your specimen is taken, it takes a few business days to process and report it, although processing time varies for individual tests. You will receive your results with a relevant reporting. In case of results that are outside the expected ranges, please consult you PCP or Health care coordinator.
