This test is for you if

  • you have heart burn, reflux, or nausea
  • you have frequent bloating or belching
  • you have severe stomach pain, can be associated with lying down or after eating
  • you smoke or use tobacco products
  • you have loss of appetite and decrease in weight
  • you have history of/ currently using NSAIDS
  • you have uninvestigated digestion issues
  • you have taken eradication treatment &/ or monitoring treatment response

DESCRIPTION

ELIGIBILITY

Please DONOT take the test if you have

  • Known allergy to mannitol, citric acid, or aspartame

PREPARING FOR YOUR TEST

Avoid taking any antibiotics, PPIs, or H2 receptor blockers (Protonix, Omeprazole, Pepcid, Pepto-Bismol etc) for 2 weeks prior to test if possible. Avoid eating or drinking water at least 1 hour before the test for reliable results.

AFTER THE TEST

We will notify you by email when your results are available in the patient’s portal. This can take up to a week. Please review all abnormal values with your primary care provider.
