PREPARING FOR YOUR TEST

A fasting early morning specimen is required. Patients consuming Biotin supplements are advised to stop biotin 72 hours prior to sampling. Please give your sample on the second or third day of your menstrual cycle (First day of your period is considered day 1).  If you do not get your period, then the test can be performed anytime. 

AFTER THE TEST

We will notify you by email when your results are available in the patient’s portal. once we receive them from LabCorp, this can take up to a week. Please review all abnormal values with your primary care provider.
